What is the Vega 3050G?
The Vega 3050G analog VoIP gateway enables businesses to connect VoIP and PSTN networks without modifying their infrastructure. It supports T.38 fax, TLS and SRTP, flexible routing, integrated call tracing and debugging tools, and includes a message waiting indicator.
How does it work?
These small devices sit at the edge of the business network and connect directly to PSTN and Internet cabling, automatically handling call processing and media conversions.
Analog gateways are the most resilient VoIP gateways in their category, with built-in local survivability. In the event of a VoIP failure, the Vega gateway allows internal extensions to continue calling one another and automatically redirects to a backup PSTN connection if available.
