Business Challenges
AnandRathi was using outdated legacy phone systems that prevented it from benefiting from the latest advances in voice and data. For a company where effective, uninterrupted communication is the backbone of its business model, the limitations of its phone systems posed a threat.
The company needed business-critical features such as video calls, conferencing, a conference bridge, IP telephony, etc., to manage its operations effectively. Operating on a traditional system meant it had to upgrade hardware frequently to keep pace with a growing network, requiring additional financial and human investment. Maintaining and managing aging phone systems across multiple sites also led to exorbitant and unjustifiable monthly phone bills. There was no way to intercom between offices. Other challenges included a lack of control over caller ID, individual voicemail boxes, remote call logs, call recording, etc.
Sangoma Solutions
The client wanted a smart, robust, and scalable solution that would enable it to overcome legacy system issues while implementing a modern enterprise communications solution cost-effectively. One of the main requirements was that the solution leverage existing MPLS and VPN connectivity and enable a smooth transition to an IP telephony solution. Sangoma’s FreePBX solution met these criteria perfectly. Sangoma’s global reputation as a company capable of seamlessly connecting disparate networks helped the client make an informed decision to choose FreePBX for this mission-critical project. AnandRathi is headquartered in Mumbai and has several regional offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
